The Blessing That Makes Rich
Be encouraged today: the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow is not a distant idea or a one-time event. It is available for you today, it will be available for you tomorrow, and it will still be available the day after, and the day after, and the day after.
Why?
Because in Jesus Christ, God has made available the fullness of His provision and His perfect love. In Him, we are invited to receive the fullness of all that is in the Godhead.
This is why Scripture says in 2 Peter 1:2–4 that:
He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
- Everything that pertains to life has been given to you.
- Everything that will help you live a godly life is available to you.
You are not spiritually under-equipped. In Christ, you are fully resourced.
A Prayer of Confidence in God’s Provision
Pray this from your heart:
Thank You, Jesus, for the victory and the glorious working of Your hand.
Thank You that we are denied no good thing.
We are marching from grace to grace,
from glory to glory,
from testimony to testimony.
We are functioning as the people of faith,
receiving the fullness that is in Christ Jesus
to be expressed in us daily in thought, in word, and in deed.
We are fully whole and fully provided for.
Every need is met according to Your riches in Christ Jesus.
Amen.
Let this prayer be more than words—let it be your mindset.
Coming to God: Believe That He Is
In Hebrews 11:6, we read:
“Whoever comes to God must believe that He is…”
It is not enough to just come to God; you must come believing.
Come to God, but:
- Come believing that He exists.
- Come believing that He is who He says He is.
If He says:
- “I am your Provider” – then He is your Provider.
- “I am your Righteousness” – then He is your Righteousness.
- “I am your Saviour” – then He is your Saviour.
- “I am your Healer” – then He is your Healer.
I pray that you will experience God in every dimension of His revelation in every area of your life:
- As Provider where there is lack
- As Healer where there is sickness
- As Righteousness where there is guilt or shame
- As Saviour where there is bondage and lostness
Come believing.
Come knowing.
Come convinced.
Come fully persuaded of who He is.
He Is the Rewarder of Those Who Seek Him
Hebrews 11:6 continues:
“…and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
God is not indifferent to those who seek Him.
He rewards those who set their hearts after Him.
It echoes what we read in Colossians, where we are instructed:
“Set your mind on things above, and keep it set.”
This is not a one-time shift but a continual posture:
- Set your mind on things above.
- And keep it set.
God says: when you come to Me, believe that I am a rewarder of those who diligently seek Me.
He is not playing hide-and-seek with your life. He honours pursuit. He honours persistent faith.
Without Faith It Is Impossible to Please God
Still in Hebrews 11:6, we find this foundational truth:
“Without faith it is impossible to please God.”
If there is no faith, it is impossible to please Him.
The way to please God is not through anxiety, fear, or mere religious routine, but through faith.
That is why this encouragement comes strongly:
Build up your faith.
- This day, you are blessed—now build your faith.
- Let your life be surrounded by faith as with a shield.
- May your life be marked by faith in every area.
How Faith Comes: Hearing the Word
Romans 10:17 reminds us:
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
If you want to build your faith:
- Hear the Word.
- Listen to the Word of God’s faith for your life.
- Read it aloud.
- Read it again.
- And then read it again.
Let it:
- Sound in every cell within you.
- Echo through your mind and heart.
- Become the loudest voice in your inner world.
Let your focus be set on this truth, and you will be released into the functional manifestation of the Word—that is, you will not just know it, you will live it.
The Word Is Spirit and Life
In John 6:63, Jesus says:
“The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life.”
The Word of God is not just information—it is spirit and life.
As you hear it, read it, speak it, and meditate on it:
- It quickens you.
- It transforms you.
- It aligns your thoughts, emotions, and actions with God’s will.
I pray that the life of the Word will transform your life today and this week.
A Week to Build Your Faith
Let this week be a faith-building week in your life.
Choose to:
- Build your faith on specific truths from God’s Word.
- Build your faith through hearing the Word.
- Build your faith by listening, meditating, and focusing on what God has said.
- Allow yourself to be quickened and established in the Word.
As you do, you will begin to experience the fullness of the Word in its absolute expression:
- Not partial peace, but deep peace.
- Not occasional hope, but unshakable hope.
- Not random provision, but steady, God-led supply.
Living in the Fullness of His Supply
Over your life, this declaration stands:
- You are blessed in your going out.
- You are blessed in your coming in.
- You lack no good thing.
Your life does not lack what God has ordained for you.
The abundance of the Lord is your portion.
And the full measure of His supply will:
- Mark you for testimony
- All the days of your life
- To God’s glory and to His praise
Amen.
